Pacific Northwest

Kev and I had quite the summer. A week in Curacao, two weeks at home, and then about two and a half weeks in the Pacific Northwest. Both of our families, separately, expressed that they wanted to take a trip there this summer. Well it happened, and worked out great. We spent a week in a cabin an hour and a half outside of Seattle with the Crams to start off the trip. We hiked, kayaked, went downtown, played games, met up with old friends  and enjoyed meals in the cabin together. The house was right on the water, with an eagles nest a few yards from our patio. Then we met up with the Pierce’s in downtown Seattle and spent the rest of our vacation with them. We saw the sights in Seattle, went fly fishing, white water rafting twice, learned how to blow glass and spent a few days in downtown Portland. We loved spending extended amounts of time with our fams, and really feel fortunate to have seen and did so much on our vacation! This summer has been incredible, I don’t want it to end!

Sorry Blog, There’s Someone Else

Yes, there is. And her name is Let’s Talk Trunk. Let’s Talk Trunk is a blog my friends and I have made to fuel our creative outlet. I have been designing the blog, taking pictures, crafting, sewing and kicking myself for not doing this with my friends sooner. It has been a blast to create and sustain together. Our goal is to inspire others to maximize what they have in their closet, identify what they need and help find a means to get them there! It’s been stealing a lot of my attention, but I will not forget my first blog love.

I could go pro in this…

Some people enjoy the organization of the iphone, others enjoy all the information that the iphone gives access to at one’s fingertips, but I, well I’m not that mature. I eat up any app that allows me alter the faces of  friends. I can be entertained for HOURS taking photos, and making them ridiculous. Some of these apps include fatbooth, agebooth, cat paint, elf yourself, fab facelift and hairstyle lite. I was a little hesitant to dedicate an entire post to something people don’t generally boast about, but I would be selfish to keep my gift for myself and not share it with the world. I hope that these photos bring just half as much happiness as they have brought me.
